Male Lead in Coffee Prince’s First Shop (Coffee Prince , Shop No. 1)

Just an update on Coffee Prince’s First Shop. I know it is kinda dated, but I just found out that the male lead starring opposite my idol – Yoon Eun Hye, is none other than up and coming Korean hearthrob, Gong Yoo! Actually I know nothing of this fella till I watched, well actually still watching, a new series who he’s starring in. Do look out for a post on the series come next week or so. Anyway, this dude exudes plenty of macho x-factor and his acting is pretty decent. I am really looking forward to the airing, or more accurately, the release of Coffee Prince’s First Shop dvds in S’pore.

Till then, here’s how the ‘prince’ in Coffee Prince will look like. Think Gong Yoo and Eun Hye will make a lovely couple.

    Nah, I dun work for the print media. Bet it would be quite fun to be in on though. So no interviews with my Korean idols too. Anyway, I do dream of meeting my idols and speaking to them one day. 🙂

    Hey Icysnowqueen@Teddy, sadly this new drama, as with all other K-dramas, will only be released in Korea in July. Expect the dvds to hit our shores say 6-12 months time since this is likely to be a hit drama.     I think you should be referring to the movie “She’s on Duty” starring Kim Seon-ah (My Lovely Samsoon). 🙂

    He also has Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy series, and he was actually steaming the screen there–the last K-Drama he made before CP is One fine Day. He is great and carries such an astounding passion in his acting- I totally love him! You can catch the Coffe Prince episodes with english subs at the Veoh Network.

    There are many male Korean star have a handsome face and good body. but for me, just a few who is very good looking. They are a combination between beauty, sexy and hypnotizing body language. hihihihihih……and Gong Yoo is one of them.
    oh…will I have a chance in my life to meet him? He is still a human, right? hehehehehe

    Hi saw the whole series and it’s very very good. Both Gong Yoo and Eun Hye acted very well …they have good chemistry together.

    How i could say? I love him too, i completely 3 times repeat watching him as Choi Han Gyul. He’s really nice.

    But in actual, his real life can i expect that every single minute of his real Gong Yoo would be the same as Choi Han Gyul! caused i have very bad experience with Korean Guy while i need to worked there (assignment) , and i hope that Gong will be not the one of my bad experience.

    I cannot say if Gony Yoo is the same as the character he played in Coffee Prince. Why not just appreciate his good acting skills and leave it at that? 🙂
