Flowers for My Life (Source: KBS World)

Flowers for My Life is the new KBS drama which I am currently watching. This is one K-drama which is absolutely delightful. My short review of the 5 episodes, which I have seen so far, can be found at Hello Hallyu, a blog for which I am one of the contributors. Do drop by and take a look. K-drama fans will feel at home there. 😀

Btw, it is still business as usual here. Just that my Korean drama/entertainment related posts will be published in full over at Hello Hallyu. So, do still drop by and support the ole Fieldmarshal.

Wow..it seems as if you are an addict to Korean dramas already…haven’t been watching much korean dramas these days but I bought the DVD for 200 pounds beauty. Great music!

Hehe… Watched the movie on big screen. I enjoyed it but my wife thought it was ‘ok’. Yup, the soundtrack rocks! Love Loveholic’s rendition of Blondie’s “Maria”.

Hey, you busy lately? Still trying to arrange for a meeting since Spuddy’s bday. Quite some time liao. 🙂

Btw, I am advertising for my new K-drama blog @ http://hellohallyu.blogspot.com/

I heard that this show’s viewership is relatively low in Korea… Hmm…

Icysnowqueen – Yeah. Was appalled to read that it garnered single digit ratings!!! Somehow, I feel that Koreans go for glossy dramas with a star studded cast. Although Flowers for My Life stars 2 relatively heavy-weights, more so for the movie industry, their pull with TV viewers ain’t as great as say actors like Rain and Yoon Eun Hye.

If you do get the chance to watch this drama, I strongly encourage you to sample at least the first episode. Guarantee you will not regret it!

Ursweetlullaby – Ok. We aim for Jul lah. Will email you and Spuddy. 🙂

I think the ratings only show the very mainstream view. A lot of the good shows are underrated. Alone In Love and Flowers For My Life are two examples. Even Snow Queen has been somewhat unfairly rated IMO. Ratings-wise, it’s always compared with Fantasy Couple (which emerged the clear winner). But the latter is a romantic comedy… which makes it easier to garner viewership. Snow Queen is the slower, more sentimental type of romantic drama that not everyone will like.

I love watching korean movies and dramas. I am curretly watching Flowers for my life, Queen of the game and Autumn in my heart. I really want to finish the last 2 dramas I listed but it’s just so sad. Then, luckily I found Flowers for my life and like it because it’s not that sad. There are funny parts in this drama…

    Hi Wrhoana

Is Queen of the Game a new series? Have not heard of it. Autumn in My Heart is a classic, but I still prefer Alone in Love, and now, Flowers for My Life. 🙂

This has to be the best after “past” historicals, not present ones. It ended beautifully. I cried!!!!!!!! Everyone who died there for one happy ending.

I sure would like English sites for photos of dramas and need computer wallpaper of such.

about the OST of the k-Drama, it included the lyrics “everywhere you turn” it really is nice and very appealing, I wonder what was the title of that song
