10 Things I love About London

Posted in Travel by fieldmarshal on March 20, 2008

In no particular order…

  1. Ease of travelling around the city (via the uber system of the London Underground tube lines)
  2. Cultural diversity
  3. Buskers in the tube underground walkways (who put our Singapore Idols to shame)
  4. Cheap tickets for theatres (three cheers for Queen’s Les Miserables!!!)
  5. The staricases/steps in the London Underground (which keep Londoners, and I for 2 weeks, fit and lean)
  6. Fashionably dressed crowds (yay, even in the tube)
  7. Cheap sandwishes and wraps (in London’s context. Extremely expensive in S’pore!)
  8. Free museums/galleries (now that’s something Singapore could learn from)
  9. Good chinese food in their Chinatown
  10. Bagels and scones (for breakfast and tea)

Most importantly, everything’s lovely cos I had my wife along with me. :D
